Dr. Marrero is a coach, consultant, speaker and author

She received her doctorate from Rutgers University in Counseling Psychology and applies her academic and career experience to facilitate organizational, team, and individual development in an inclusive way that seeks to engage, expand and transform.

Over the years she has worked both nationally and internationally and is fluent in Spanish. During the past 25 years as an internal and external consultant in an array of environments, medical centers(Stanford Hospital & Clinics), government, academia, and high technology manufacturing.

Santalynda has served her clients in collaborative strategy planning, vision framework, culture change on through team and leadership development and coaching. To enhance organizational alignments she has facilitated retreats, team building and development of high performance teams and conflict resolution. She was instrumental in providing support to senior management and human resources/relations through culture change in a merger and transition support in the dissolution of the merger.

Being bilingual in Spanish, bi-cultural and bi-literate has afforded her the opportunity to work internationally. Diversity, inclusion and engagement are core to all her work. Her curiosity and love for cultures engages her in world travel and in a faculty role at the Summer Institute for Intercultural Communications (SIIC).

Karen Rago, RN, MPA, FAAMA, FACCA

Karen Rago, RN, MPA, FAAMA, FACCA is currently a consultant in clinical program development, lean process improvement and team development.

She has had a successful career in health care management including over 20 years working with physicians and hospital administration as a service line leader. Ms. Rago has developed services and high performing teams. She has demonstrated success in lean process improvement and program/team development.

Ms. Rago worked as a staff nurse in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit at Stanford University Hospital and progressed to Vice President of Service Lines. Karen then joined the University of California San Francisco Medical Center as the Executive Director of Service Lines.
